Morundah Races. [Newspaper Article] — Narandera Argus and Riverina Advertiser — 18 April 1895

Hornndah Races. The above races took place on Easter Monday last, and were a great success, fully 400 being present. The arrangements were very complete, a special train taking visitors from Narandera. The officials worked with a will, running the events off up to time. Mr Harrington, as judge, bad Borne close finishes to decide, and two decisions against Darkness were not appreciated by tbe inajority*f those present. No doubt Mr Harrington was in the best position to see who won, and he gave his deoisisn without hesitation in both cases. The wielding of the Sag was done by Mr W. M'Lennan, and he succeeded in getting the fields away well together. The other officials were ably assisted by Mr Euehall, of Narandera. The There was very little betting ; but a ' bob tote' did a roaring business. The booth was run by Mr Morris, and bis daughters and son, with able assistants, were kept busy the whole of the day, attending to the wants of tba inner man. The following are the details of the...
