Reveals Complexion Secret of tbe Spanish. A LADY TELLS HOW THEY KEEPTHEIR YOUTHFUL COM PLEXIONS, EVEN AT SIXTY. As a young girl," writes one of our readers, "I always had a nice clear and deji.catej.y- tinted complexion, but on reaphing the age of thirty jt changed completely. The chilly winter winds and rain made my skin rough and dry - my face used to burn and smart horriblyafler the slightest exposure to frcst or cold. To the North Wind. IN FOND REMEMBRANCE. [Newspaper Article] — Nathalia Herald and Picola, Narioka, Kotupna and Moira Advertiser — 31 March 1914

To the North Wind. IN FOND REMEMBRANCE. I am the wind that whips the tree, That flays the land and sweeps the sea, I am the harbinger of drought, Destroyer of each tender sprout; I banish all urbanity, And sanity true sanity, I clothe the countryside in brown. Dispel the smile and raise t!>e frown, And cause profuse profanity When I blow in to town. I scorch the crops upon the plain, And blast the promises of rain ; Through me the farmer's work in vain, And all is loss that might be gain. I seize each opportunity To harass the community, My mission but to mar and maim, And no maR ever dares to claim Immunity immunity When I begin my game. I sing with maniacal glee A ballad of inclemency. I am. the washerwoman's woe, The barman's friend, the cyclist's foe ; Society—r-r-society, J fill each spotless home with dust, I fill e^ch housewife with disgust, And fleeing their sobriety Some men go on the bust. My wings «re laden with the grit From road and plain, from mound and pit: The sca...
