Gals Take Over; Push Men To Page 4 By-VERA L. KEMP Women's Editor . Women are equal, to men. Women are equal to men, Women are—. But at times we have to repeat the fact like a grammar school student sent to the blackboard to write a misspelled word onehiindred times._^ For 149.. issues the women's news is crammed on the back page (with an occasional respite on page one) but for the remaining issue—well, here it is. After pleading for space all year with "pretty pleases" in the'feminine manner, we grabbed the chance to shove the Collegian men into the farthest corner of the newsroom, leaned back in the editor's chair, and took over the job of "putting the paper to bed." Though journalistic Amazons for the 150th issue, we revert to our female traits by characteristically dressing up the paper with shapely type, delicate arrangement, and subtle humor. Instead of the usual -fight for < _T/^~<!i__»5_* nr-Tr*"****' space, we push men's news into "We, the Men" by the er...

Men Work Heroically To Revive Collegian Working heroically , through the night andT casting _^ aside all hopes of attending Senior Ball, a band of serious minded men today managed to revive The Daily Collegian which1 had been seriously injured by a marauding band of Amazons ;' yesterday morning. The Collegian's injuries' were diagnosed as shock and a complication of fractures. Wearied by the steady flow of complaints from readers who didn't understand what had happened, the men finally disconnected their phones, locked the _doors and went to sleep at their typewriters early today. The 12 Amazons who . had devastated the Friday issue of the paper were-reported in the College Infirmary, suffering nervous prostration. News submitted by the group was crowded into a column and a half on the last page this morning.
