Agriculture HAY-MAKING. Many of oar farmers aro now engaged in outting and making hay. Tho liay crop is very good, we understand, provided it oan bo secured in good condition. Though hay-making opens to tho farmer the season of busy toil, it is no longer the season of dread, as formerly, when human muscles bare tho strain. Tho seythe has grown rusty, and hangs in many a farmer's shed, a rclio of antiquity, prosorvod for tho ser vice it has seen and tho good it has dona. In its place tho Mowing Machine, with its sinews of steel, now cntors the field like a thing of life, and in a few hours lays low tho waving gras., which othcrwiso would have required days of toil and sweat to have accomplished.
