FANCY DRESS CRICKET HATCH. w ? The cause of charity was well responded to on Wednesday when the f&ncy dress oricket match, organised by Mr F. A. Smith and others, took place on the Park Oval. Although tho weather was somewhat annoy ing, the dust and sand blowing about and the temperature rather wintry, the attend ance was auite un to emaciations. Tbe players arrayed in various and wonderful costumes made the Criterion Hotel a rendez vous, from which point a procession was marshalled and a tour of the town made prior to the commencement of play. The Excelsior Band headed the procession which marched dow.a East-street, along Lanner-strtet and into the Park via Cadell-street.
