ThiB was particularly noticeable for all plain descrip tions, which formed the bulk of tho yarding. Prime quality sold readily, and late rates were fully maintained, but medium ami rough sorts were easier throughout. We quote: Extra prime heavy weight yearlings and 2-year-olds, 50s to 60s; good, 35s to 45s; medium, 25s to ' 30s; rough, from 20s; primo young, vealers, 25s to 33a; good,. 20s to 24s; medium, 15s to 18s; inferior, from 7s 6d to 12s 6d. City Yards. J. 0. Young and Co. ^ Fat Calves.-Three hundred calves yarded this week, mostly medium quality. The supply was in oxcess, and values low for medium and inferior sorts. Prime large calves, beiug scarce, sold fairly well. We sold 0110 truck from Tarago at market rates. Fat Pigs.-The supplies of fat pics have fallen off considerably, and only a small supply were yarded this week. liuyors were empty handed, and high prices ruled throughout. Prime heavy lmconers are worth to 52s, good from 42s to 48s, light from 34s ; best heavy porkers to 26s, good 22s 6d, light from 19s. We sold over 100 pigs during the woek, making to 47s 6d.
