The course will comprise a seiies ol the best productions from the ablest gentlemen in the country, and from the announcement of Dr. Elder, who will deliver the initial lecture, we are guarantied in anticipating a rare intellectual treat. DEATHS W.On lhe 14th inst., in New Berlin, Mrs. Mary, wife of Rev. Daniel Rhemer, formerly of Centre county. In Lancaster on Thursday, October 14th, Marcus Dorr ilolbraok, son of Henry M. and Alary P. inciter, aged 18 years and 6 months. [We cannot refrain from appending a line to the above announcement of the death of a young printer; and although it is many months since we had the pleasure of seeing him, ""stick" in ha'nd af ' • case," we have often thought of him, in our quiet hoftrs of home remembrances, little dreaming that the 'form" of the patient modest and industrious young piinter would be 'locked-up" so soon and "worked off" by death. Had he lived, he would have adorned the craft; and, young as lie was, lie has left behind him a "proof that will bear revising. We regret his loss sincerely, and sympaihise with his parents, to whom it is irreparable'. His mild and unobtrusive manners, with a quiet consciousness of superiority, made him aw object of esteem and respect am...
