CAiaronai A WH1AT. The first 0 tlilornia wheat brought in any considerable quantity to PliilaJel phia came to as twa years ago. It wus anovoltv that our milliers adorned, but were reluctant to take hold of. The grains were beautiful to look at—yellow in husk—but within, white as the pow der of oriental p«arls. It was flinty in consistence, and tho niHlers found th.it the burr-stones set for Pennsylvania and Ohio whsat, failed to reduce it to the condition essential to the production ot a superfine flour. Onefirmot* Philadel-Iu phia millers, celebrated for making a superior artiole of family flour, hud us ed a small lot of it six or seven yours previous, and understood the nature ot the grain and the manner of grinding it, and also knew how haudsomo an ar ticle of flour could bo made from it.
