Of those I torn whom answers were obtained, at least three-fourth* took decided ground ouiiiiMiu^ wuuiuu 4* vquai or to corresponding privileges with men. The older colleges were almost unan­ imous in this opinion. After a careful consideration of all the questions in­ volved, the committee unanimously recommended co-education and the Uoard of Regents immediately adopted the report withoutserious disagreement.
