Thp fine steamship Galveston arrived at La Salle on the 22d from Now York. She brought over the party of surveyors sol diers engineers etc composing the commission to run the boun darv line between the United States and Mexico. There are III 15 civilians and 120 soldiers with a most extensive outfit in wagons provisions apparatus etc. They are in my opinion the finest looking and mo3t gentlemanly set of men taking their number into view 1 have ever seen land in Texas.
