Jfflanelurama. [FBOM OOB COBEESPONEENI.] A juvenile cricket match, between the youtigsters of Mivndurama and Lyndhurst resulted in a win for the. former. The holiday passed off very quietly in town, the sports at Galley Swamp, Lynd hurst, and Carcoar being well attended. Mining is progressing very favourably at Galley Swamp. It is said there are over 300 men employed at the mine and in erect ing tbe machinery. Mr. E. Sargeant has contracted to make 300,000 bricks, and Mr. B. Smith is also engaged making a large quantity. The brickmaking is proceeding very rapidly, and as all these bricks will require to be laid during the next five months it will take over 30 bricklayers to do the work. A large number of carpenters are also employed. Work at the Junction and Burnt Yards is still proceeding, though only to a moderate extent. The weather still keeps very d -y. April 14.

The sad event took place at five o'clock on Friday morning, 8th inst   What makes the event more sad is the fact that only five months ago the deceased was   married to a daughter of Mrs E. Fuller, of this town. Deceased was only 26 years of age, and had the respect of all who knew     him. He was buried on Saturday morning, his mortal remains being followed to the     grave by a large concourse of sympathising friends.
