HOBART TOWN ; SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11, 1817.                 SITTING MAGISTRATE - JAMES GORDON, ESQ. A Loaf of Bread-Wheaten 10d.; Household 9 1/2d. SHIP NEWS.-Early next week the ship Pilot, Capt. Pexton,   will sail for Port Jackson. We mentioned in our last that the wheat at Sydney market was on the 6th ultimo upwards of 20s. per bushel. We may naturally suppose that it will continue increasing in price till harvest: consequently, the cargo which the Pilot takes up must be very valuable, having on board about 2,500 bushels, 60 tons of potatoes, with a quantity of salt, &c. This morning the notorious Bush-ranger, George Watts, was brought into Town wounded. The corpse of a man of the name of   William Drew (commonly called Slambo) was brought in at the same time, he having been found dead in the bush near Burne's farm. The account given by Watts ia...
