Mr. McKctizio. cuirinoor for Namoi Shire, had something in teresting to say nbout tho placo he represented. Namoi Shire had an area of 5,000 square, miles, and ho had over 2000 miles of roads to look nfter, which necessitated his having both a motor car and a motor biko to get over tho ground. Ho had, dar ing tho last few weeks, driven ovor tho roads all round Sydnoy, which, ho contended, woro in n very bad condition, and much inferior to tho tremendous longth.of. roadway in his Shire, which was all satisfactorily maintained on a revenue of £15,000 a year.
