' 22 Pennsylvania Colleges Accept Convention Bids Twenty-two Pennsylvania colleges and universities have accepted invitations to the Pennsylvania Student Government Association convention to be held on the campus next Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Thomas C. Backenstose '41, president, reported yesterday. This will be five more than attended the first meeting held last ¦ year. Backenstose said additional acceptances might still be receieved. The main speaker of the convention will be Dr. William Mather Lewis, state director of selective service, who will talk Saturday night. His subject will be "The Part of the Student in the Selective Service Program." President Ralph D. Hetzel will also address the delegates. It is probable that another speaker will be William S. New Record Set Mountain lodge Hears Actual Construction Several recommendations concerning the 1939 mountain lodge were adopted by the Recreation Committee last night- and the lodge was officially turned over to the department of grounds and buildings for construction. As recommended'by the committee, the .lodge was brought within the $7,300 budget. . It will be . located on a .five-acre plot midway between Boalsburg and the . ski trail.
