Dixon , president of the Fruit & Truck Growers Assn . of Texas and who is otherwise identified with the fruit industry of this state , is spending a few days in the city . Speaking of the fruit situation of the stpte , he said : The peach crop is a practical failure in TexTrs this year . I have visited Jacksonville , Palestine , Crockett . Nacogdoches .
