Tho singular campaign of tho patriotic porker has been recorded in more than one history of tho Stale, but the local press has re cently revived the story in statements from somo of the few remaining witness- as ot its truth. They differ only about trifles and tbo undisputed tacts are as follows : Thedav after tho command left their rendezvous on the march for the seat of war, a couple ot shoats were observed fighting furiously in a lane.
