Crook is bound to make the Apaches understand that the troops can wipe them out of existence, and -will do it if they don't behave. We extract this from a letter dated Mc Dowell, December 20. In referring to former action of the troops the letter says : Delachy had about 100 of his warriors and intended (so the prisoners say) to soon make a raid on his and Colyer's enemies (the whites). The timely interference of Gen. Crook and his troops frustrated Dela chy'a plans. -p.,,.
