Oil and Gas Possibilities. While the ureal possibilities of Quay county as an agricultural county, are becoming generally known and discussed, our oil and gas possibilities are not being over looked. Prof. Wekoff, the cele brated oil and gas expert, of Beau mont, Texas, has made a thorough topographical survey of the prob able oil and gas fields surrounding Tucumcari, and it is his opinion that a vast area of country around Tucumcari is underlain with both oil and gas. The Professor in forms us that a company is being formed to sink one or more deep wells, and that themoney necessary for the undertaking has been secured. A. B.
