Freeman of Memphis murdered in cold blood a mofct umiable and excellent, young gentleman named Hamlin. The correspondence, shows that Hamlin not only atlirmed on the Held after he was shot, but in his responce to the brutal challenge of Freemun that ho was wholy unconscious of ever having said or done aught against him in his life.
