Meade, together with troops, to the border to enforce the neutrality luws. 4 K Toronto, April SL—The Globe's special says much dissatisfaction ex- ists among the magistrates by the singular course of the Mayor ot Cornwall, who in forming his court, excludes all Catholic magistrates from the bench. This fact, connected with the ex- clusion of the press, and other circum- stances leads to the belief that an attempt will, be made to punish the prisoners, whether guilty or not. Wheeler was very insolent, and threatened to apriy to President Johnson if nol immediately released. The Globe's dispatch says that squads are moving to Calnis and other Maine towns.
