February, to determine whether it would be advisable to revive the ' sports meeting, which was allowed to lapse last year for want of a secretary. The market advanced Id per lb. for best brands ; second qualities had to bo disposed of at wide margins from top. Choicest Gippslands realised I/l, choice -12%d to 12%d, good to prime to Is, seconds 10j<d to lid, heated and inferior lots lower. Separators sold at 9/^1 to lOd, dairies 7Hd to 8d. Cheese There is a Further improvement in values, loaf fetching from 2J4d to 6%d, matured 71/,{\ to Sd. Eggs There was a marked increase in supplies for the week, and values fell about Id per dozen.
