KAYS— On the 26th of January at the residence of bis mother in Milesburg, J. I. Gregg'Kays. We are sorry to announce the death of our young friend J. I. G- Kays. But it is so. Another gallant soldier has descended to the nations of the dead. Mr. Kays was a young man 21 years of age and served as a faithful and brave soldier in the late war to suppress the slave holders Rebellion, in Co. G. 184 Keg't. P. V. commanded by Col. JH. Stover.' His twin brother, Robert Kays, was killed by the explosion of a shell while nobly fighting in defense of the old flag. The husband ot Mrs. Kays died about one year ago. Thus, in a few years, Mrs. Kays has been bereft of her ¦ husband ' and two noble boys, and is left alone to mourn in sorrow over the dear ones departed. T. G.
