Ohicago , January 27 . —May wheat , which on • aturday sold as high as 65 % c and closed at 65 % c , opened this morning at from 65 % c to tQWi , and kept changing hands in immense quantities for half an hour at and between those two prices . After that , Armour having meantime disposed of • 1 , 000 , 000 bu openly through his own representatives , the market took a downward course and pursued it until * t 11 a . m . the price was 64 % c . The market became weak again in the last half hour , the prices getting down to 64 % r @ 64 % c , and closing at 64 % c , or a decline for the day of l % c per bushel . The trading in corn was moderately brisk and the chief feature of it was the taking of profits by people who had bought on Saturday . It opened strong in sympathy with wheat , but tended downward during the remainder of the day . May corn started at from 30 % c to 31 c , told off to 30 c and closed at 30 @ 30 % c bid .
