The evening before her execution, while she w as receiving the visit of a clergyman, she fainted. AH efforts to restore her to concious newt were unavailing; she temained insensible, and the next naming, as the hour of execution approached, the sheriff thinking her dead, call ed in a physician to decide as to her condition.
