Masslllon, now scarcely known In the wheat trade, was the chief point of original receipt, and received a larger amount of wheat than any other port in the world from the actual producers. Engle, a watchmaker, at Ilazleton, Pa. He is about 45 year of n go and was about twenty years In per fecting the clock. Mr. lteid paid Engle 3, 000 for it. Engle never saw the Btras Imrg clock. In fact, lie bus not traveled more than two hundred miles from borne nt nny time. This clock stands eleven feet high. At its bsse it Is about four feet wide and at the top about two. It is about three feet deep at the base, gradual ly less towards the top. Its colors are dark brown and gold. The Stranburg clock Is thirty feet high, yet Its mechanism is not so Intricate nor has it as many fig ures as the Hazleton clock.
