A Railway Incident. While recently passing, says a writer in Household "Words from Exter to Lon don, on a great Western Railway, I found the carriage I had selected for the trip oc cupied by a very interesting' young lady and two rather talkative gentleman. Of course we became rapidly sociabla. From generalities we came down to personalities. and amused each other with a variety of incidents connected with our experiences in railway traveling, many of which you may readily imagine, were singular enough. A.Tale of Horrors. An atrocious crime has just been perpetrated in Szikeze, in Hungary. A bawker, who had long been in the habit of trveling about th country sellinglinen,8toped for th night at the house of a peaaant. After taking his supper qui etly with his host, he retired to bed. In the middle of the night, the wife awoke her husband, and proposed to him to go and murder the hawker, in order 1 getpo session of his property. The husband pos itively refused, on which the woman, call ing hirn a cowarä, went and plunged a big knifa into the' Bleeping hawker. In the morning, her son, a boy of five years of age, asked Lis mother for a piece of bread, when she took a knife to cut him a slice. Seeing this, the child cried out. 'Do not cut it with that knife, tor you used it to kill the hawker!"
