The main object and ambition of the editor has been to publish one of the leading county papers of our important State and as his efforts have been appreciated, has made such addi- tion to his office and improvement in the appearance of the IVatchman as circum- stances would permit. That which has been accomplished, has not been done without days of weary labor and nights devoted to mental toil.
