The bill beginning Sunday night November 22 at this pop- ular vaudeville theatre is one of the best of the season The pro gram is as follows Mr George L Wade the well known minstrel man who has made thousands laugh in his black face work in his own com- pany is the leading attraction at the Alhambra theatre this week and he measures up to every ex- pectation Mr Wade is assisted by Miss Wall in a sketch which displays Mr Wades talent to the best advantage He appears in the character of an old negro woman while Miss Wall is pre- sented as a dainty and very be- witching young girl She is a pretty woman and sustains her share of the sketch with much credit The act gives Mr Wade opportunity to work far and wide and from the time he comes on with that infectious laugh until the curtain goes down he keeps the audience in an uproar His laugh is a feature but the stuff he works and the remarkable fa- cial expressions would make a tombstone wrinkle with merri- ment That beautiful illustrated ...
