WAR OF REVENGE RUMOURED. 'The Daily Mall' publishes a mem orandum, which it states it has re ceived from a person in close touch with the be3t informed circles in Ber lin, and Munich. The memorandum sets out that the Germans are planning a war of revenge against France, for which they are determine'! to secure control of a gruat military force by mean3 of a secret agreement with Soviet Russia. It further states that, while ail classes in Germany strongly desire a war of revenge, they are field back, only by a fear of the Allies, who would come in in the event of too open In fringement ^f the Treaty of Ver sailes. . FACTORIES CONFERENCE. NORTH COAST (Q.) DISTRICT A conference of delegates of dairy companies in the Wide Bay, Bundi berg. Gayndah, Port Curtis, Stanley River, and South Burnett districts was held at Maryborough on 12th December to discuss matters of interest. Mr. 5. R. Noakes (Maryborough) pers!ded. The conference decided that the com panies should cease paying xhe railway reight on cream as from February 1st next. The method of fixing the pricp to cream suppliers , aroused a long discussion, and eventually it was a greed that all the companies tn the districts represented: should confer monthly and fix a uniform price for cream to be paid to all suppliers.
