On Saturday, July iS, the niem jers of the Gympie Rifle Club paid tambour a visit, ami during the Jay fired a friendly match with the ,ocal team. The visitors arrived by the looming train, and were met by Mri Winterford, and escorted to his hostelry, where a friendly glass was partaken of. An adjournment ivas then made to tne convincing; ground, and the match shot off. The Conditions were eight men aside, jwith seven-shots each at the - 300, 560. and 600 yards, which gave a possible score of 105 po:'-- ;.
