SHOCKING MURDER AT ADELAIDE A married woman named Mary Legge was murdered in Hindley street, Adelaide, on the 20th instant ituder the following circum- stances, detailed at the inquest : George Roskling said-Last night after I returned fioent chapel I was in the kitchen at Gason's Labour Office, in Hindley-street. I there saw William Wallace Legge and his wife, the oga~¢.4 They were quarrelling. He asked paper where Mrs Legge was-. Heard a noise in the back room like knives or spoons rattling. Legge came out from the back room with his hand under the bosom of his shirt. He asked her again if she would go to bed and make it up with him. '" I'll see you in ----- first."
