Burning Fatality at   Kennedy's Creek.       A very sad death occurred on Friday, August 16, when Elsie   Porter, 3 years of age, lost her life   owing to shock from burns received   from her clothes catching on fire.   INQUIRY. A magisterial inquiry was held on   Saturday before Mr: W. J. Silvester, J.P. when the following depositions were heard :— Robert Porter deposed : - - The   deceased, Elsie Porter, was my daughter. She was 3 years of age. On Thursday, August 15, 1918, my wife left home   about 4 p.m. to go to her mother's   place about a mile away. I remained at home with 3 of the children.
