They sent me , among other things , a brochure of the A . S . I . S . — American Student Information Service , an association which , seems to arrange jobs for American students all over Europe . I dont know this organization ; as to the booklet , it offers summer positions , not just jobs . (???) The address : A . S . I . S ., Frankfurt / M , Jahnstr . 56 A , Germany . By DAVID STARR Letter from the Appel Infirmary Isolation Ward The other day I caught F and M s version of the plague , the German measlei The day -started out very nicely , I went to speech class and probably infected the whole bunch of them in giving my speech Upon return to my pad , my roommate noticed that I had a rash . EDITORIALS [Newspaper Article] — F&M College Reporter — 3 April 1964

EDITORIALS To Feast or Not To Feast A few months ago , the administration . informed all college sponsored organizations that the year-end banquets customarily held by the groups were to cease . The reasoning behind this decision was that the administration considered it unfair that select groups of students , that is , orgamzaiion members , should dine , and im some cases , wine , on excess funds received from the fees all students pay . In the past , this paper has been one of the organizations which sponsored such a banquet . Shortly before spring vacation , participants in winter sports gathered for a banquet . While we are not hinting that these men did not deserve to enj...
