PbilbIse ea Taesday amd Friday. Late Northern Intelligence. The New Herald of the 6th, says that a powerful conspiracy exists in Congress to oppose Lincoln and break up the Union. It says it is very evident that the European powers are resolved to break up the blockade. A dispatch from Washington, on the 7th says it is considered doubtful whether the legal tender clause of the treasury note bill will pass the Sen ate. Senator Simmons will introduce his project for the establishment of a national bank, a savings bank and a fiscal agency. The lower House of the Kansas Legislature, by a vote of sixty against seven :passed a resolution requesting the. resident to appoint Lane a ma jor-general and give him the com mand of the southern expedition. T'pe Leavenworth Conservative has made an exposure of the recent bill in regard to the Kansas bonds to the department of the interior, by which the State has been swindled to a large amount probably $10, 000. Skeletons Fwsnd.-In .excanaating for the earthwork in the feld this ilde the Oathedral Cemetery, some days ago, two human skeletons were found muqh decayed, tis true, but the bones denaytldistinguishasle. A leaden bul let was found imbedded in the spine of one, and portions of leather were disovered around the feet, showing that the person was buried with his shoes on. They were probaly soldiers in some former war. Thursday last a simular discovery was made at Thunderbolt. While dig *g withinafew feet of the old Bow ling Alley, and about three feet be owIithe '.surface, a human skull was thtown up. It had been buried with the face downward. Upon the side of the skull, just above tihe left ear, was orihce about the size of and evident ly, made by a bullet. Seveal other bones of the skeleton were also found. Pablished on Tuesday and Friday. A Brilliant F"eat.--On Thursday . last, Capt. Charley Price, of the Mis souri State Guard, who is connected p with Col. M. Jeff. Thompson's cav alry command, committed one of the B most daring feats that has been re corded since the commencement of the war. With eight mounted men I he proceeded towards Charleston, where he encountered sixteen of the enemy's cavalry, in a sharp and bril liant skirmish. He killed five of them and wounded three, supposed I mortally, and took two others pris oners, without the loss of a single one - of his own men. Bravo! for the J young Missourian.--dem. Appeal. The Confederate States Assay Office is now in operation at the mint in Dahlonega, Ga. 'The Assayer, L. W. Quillian, gives notice that the assay value will be stamped on each piece deposited.
