It is quite common for them to be tijwkcn of as verdant, frlovenifh, etc. adjectives which conic doubly cut ting whn those to whom they are applied feel them to be true to a cer tain degree, yet are ignorant of the way in which they might improve. They ure driven in immense droves through the Indian country. As a drove trav els about six or rijlit miles day. when on a lonjr journey, the cattle improve and increase in flesh when the crass is pood.
