(From our own Correspondent) On Saturday evening flio 4tU inst. at 8 o'clock at Haiiia near Honokaa, a young native by name of Wailua, went to an old Chinamans housc,and and knocking at the door demanded a bottle of liquor. The Chinaman Akana by name went to tho door, and assured the native that ho had no liquor in his possession, and further, that he could not obtain any. The Chinaman then returned to his bed and lay down, leaving the native standing in the doorway, and was preparing to light his pipe, when Wailua drew a revolver and fired at tho Chinaman twice, one shot lodg ing in his head, and the other pass ing through his throat.
