THE MILITARY RESERVATION:' From a letter received by Mayor Finlay from the Chief Clerk of the U.S. Surveyor General, at Tucson, we learn that plats arid field notes of that portion of Ari zona City,knovn as the Fort Yuma Military Reservation, lying on the eouth side of the Colorado river, lias been rece ved from the Gen eral Land Office at Washington. Tn order to obtain a patent now, as we understand it, a new survey will have to be made extending certain Uses to connect the lines of the reservation with the exte rior boundaries of the town. She tried to arjuse him, but discovered that all the functions of life were siiiOt-nded. Becoming alarmed he'sent for a doctor who, on ex amining his pulse pronounced him dead; but this she was loth to be lieve, as there were symptons of life about the body.
