Eightyone were arrested today in n hideout in the rugged foot- hills near Laoag and held for de- portation. They constituted the fifth such group picked up recent- ly. One detainee told Filipino offi- cials a recruiter in Amoy charged $500 each to smuggle Chinese into the Philippines, which they regard at the promised land.
