Besides the gonoral ratepayors being inconvenienced, 1 have had to put up with a lot for a considerable time, \VoWe weoro without gas for saeveral (lays and meoutioned the fact to the company requesting that a certain workman who knew the neighbourhood might ho cent up, Strangsrs came and for several days were trying without success, One day I had to show them where the syplhon was situated so that they might pump the wator, which came out in buckernts full. One special evening we had a number of new arrivals visiting our home. I had to apologisoebecauseo we had nothing but kerosene lamlps burnu ing.
