COLOR [Newspaper Article] — The Wyalong Star and Temora and Barmedman Advertiser — 22 June 1894

COLOR, Ordinary people seldom appreciate what oolor really means. It has no existence whatever except in our own sensations. Objects reflect light, and the light is an un dulatory action set up through the ether. The undulations vary in frequenoy within enormously wide limits ; the undulations between 391 billions per second, and 757 billions per. second are those which, when they strike' upon the nerve elements in' the retina capable of receiving them produce tha effect of color.
