SYDNEY, Friday, 7 p.m. A deputation frbm the agricultural society waited on the Oolonial Secretary this morn ing asking Government to contribute £6000 towards the Intercolonial Exhibition durtibg the centennial year. Sir H, Parkes said the Government intended to invite repre sentatives from all other colonies in January next. Ho would much like to see an ex hibition held. thoroughly representative of Australia, and promised to bring the matter before the Cabinet. The Assembly yesterday was again charac terised by proceedings of a discreditable nature, Upon the Speaker taking. the chair he read a letter from the Olork of the House stating that papers relating to Rvans' 0om bination Railway Truck had been taken away by Mr. Lyno, and not returned.
