INTERESTING ITEMS. On the first anniversary of the murder of her husbanac an engineer, employed at the lendon Aero drome, Mme. Petitpierre announces that she is about to comninence her training in aviation, to tryJ and honour the name she'bears, to the memory of her late husband. M. Petitpierre was a skilful F'rench en gineer who was fatally woundled last year by a suicidal pupil named Havant, and died in St. LMary's Hos pital at Paddington. By the will of J. W. Hutton, who was known as a fishernan and an enthusiastic hunter, and who died at Jersey recently, it was ordered that his ashes be strewn upon the Hackensack River, along .the banks of which he used to fish as a lad.
