Wedding. BOOTS-PERRETT. A very pretty and fashionable wedding was celebrated in St. John's Church of England, Raymond Terrace, on Wednes day morning, 21st August, when Albert Boots, of Sydney, second son of Mr. C. H. Boots (Mayor of Raymond Terrace) was united in holy wedlock to Lena, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Perrett, of Alnwick. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. M. Garbett. The service was choral. The bride wore a graceful gown of ivory Duchesse satin, veiled with silk ninon and filet lace, the corsage being elaborately embroidered with pearls aud a fichu of ninon, finished at the side with a spray of orange blos soms ; the court train was very prettily designed with roses and true lovers' knots ; she also wore tulle veil over a 'Kismet' cap of orange blossoms aud trailing pearls ; she carried a shower bouquet of hyacinths, which, with a pendant of aquamarines and pearls, were the gifts of the bridegroom. KARUAH. The Karuah Cricket Club's annual meet ing took place on Saturday night. There was a fair attendance of members. The annual report, which showed membership 27, matches played 18, won 9, lost 9, bat ting strength 11.2 as against opponents' 12.4, and other details of the club's doings for the year, was adopted unanimously.
