THE HAYTI HERALD. VOL. 2. HAYTI, MISSOURI, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 1910. NO. 45. i THAT "COURT" Ana still thoCorbett "Cam,'aroo" Court is grinding, winding its weary length along, to the disgust of an in telligent people. In this matter, the people of Hayti have not been treated with respect, to say nothing of common courtesy. Attachments have been issued for them without justification, ond they have been harassed by the presence of constables, etc. Before this court the witnesses seem to have no redress or protection,' and are compolled to answer all kinds of questions, under penalty of going to jail. Up to the present this court has or dered the following persons to jail: James M. Argo, Henry M. Rans burg, Fred Morgan and J. L. Dorris, and but for the timely interference of Judge Riley Henderson in granting habeas corpus, perhaps some of these men would now bo languishing behind prison bars, to the gloat and glory of the littlo Caruthersville bunch, who are striving to keep the cou...
