There has been considerable difficulty experienced and much delay in sinking: this well but those hav ing the work in charge have lear ned what is necessary to over come the difficulties incident to boring wells in this section and from now on no serious delays are anticipated. Woolf who is thoroughly posted gives it as his opinion that the pump ing plant vill be in operation by the middle of August, which means that thousands of dollars worth of benefit will be derived this season.
