The only require ment is that you trade with those merchants who are members of the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce. However there are members of the Chamber of Commerce whose business is of such a nature that they cannot cooperate in this plan, and in this case they offer other inducements which will make it to your interest to come to Arcadia to buy your fall and winter supplies. The Plan Is This It is not necessary that you do all your shopping at one store, but you may make purchases from every merchant who participates in this plan of saving for their customers, which is more fully explained as follows: When you purchase your ticket to Arcadia merely ask your ticket agent to give you slip showing the amount of your ticket, and when you make your first purchase, the merchant from you b...

Government calls it budget-maling. We call it the Budget Plan. Would you like to own a New Edison I Our Budget Plan will show you how to "swing" the purchase, without cutting in on your present necessary expenditures. Now is a good time to buy. The New Edison has advanced in price less than 15c% since 1914; this includes War Tax. Mr. Edison has kept prices down by absorbirg increased costs out of his own pocket. T. N. HARPER ARCADIA, LA.
