Friday. October 3 was de- signated as "Hillbilly Day" at Snuthville High School This was done to get the student body into the mood of the pep rally, which featured the theme of "Hee Haw". The day started with a group of hillbilly girls riding around the high school in old pickup trucks. All through the day the hillbillies could be seen roam - ing through the halls of S.H.S The school day ended with a very "unique" pep rally, which featured the theme of "Hee Haw". The cast of the pep rally consisted of the cheerleaders, the twirlers, and the drum majors, all dressed in hillbilly costumes A five dollar prize for the corniest looking hillbilly went to Teresa Carr.
