Bees Will be Bees. Elliston, August 20. [Newspaper Article] — Port Lincoln Times — 26 August 1927

Bees Will be Bees. Elliston, August 20. A large swarm of bees have entered into Mr. W. J. Packer's blacksmith's shop, and despite smoke and the pre sence of many visitors, have built a huge honey comb, which is suspended from the roof. The busy creatures are rapildy filling the comb with honey. It is interesting to stand and watch the bees coming in with the honey clinging to their hind legs and depositing it in the cells, and flying away for more. The bees have been in the shop for about six months and although many visitors have been in to see them no one has yet been stung Mr. Packer considers that they will leave in September. He will then take possession of the honey.
