THURSDA.Y, MAICH 2?, 18io. WE desire to direct the attention of the thinking public interested in the progress of tile district comprised in the Bults Buln and N arnican Shires, and also of our member in the Legislative Assembly to our report in another column, of the N arinia? Shire Council meeting. From that it. will be seen that such is the Council's position with regard to funds that selectors residing 'i v:trious poi:tiouns of the Shire, who have means at their conmmand, are offering loans for roitil making purposes without interest. In the first place we would ask what conclusion do these offers of loans point to? Do they not imply thie un bounded confidence of the 'selectors in the future prosperity of the dis trict ? Do they not also show that those amongst us who are in a posi tion to do so, are.. willing to. help thenselves, and are therefore de serving of-assistance? Do they not conclusively prove that the iate-. payers repose thl utllistaonl'fiden? is their rcpresenitati...
