I Now a familiar sight in the town's streets, the fruit truck is averaging about 620 sales a week, with the record [Standing at OS'i fur the week ended November 20. In Soiuu this week on an inspection tour tvub Mibb Dorothy Campbell, C.O.D. officer in charge of retail dis tribution of fruit in Southern Queens land. Miss Campbell said tbat the G.O.D., which is a Queensland fruit growers co-operative organisation owned and controlled by growers, was extremely pleased with the suc cess of the venture. Its Object, she said, was to facilitate the retail selling of fruit and veget ables, aB well as giving housewives service by bringing foods to their front door.
